Love Without Trust? Impossible!
Trust is the foundation of any relationship. It’s what makes a relationship strong and stable.
Relationships without trust are fragile and can break at any moment.
Let me share my experience with you, when I was in relation I always trusted my partner.
I used to treat him like my best friend with whom I could laugh loudly, cry on his shoulders and share my happy and sad moments with him.
As I knew deep in my heart that my partner would understand me and support me when I needed him the most he’ll be there for me, this is the trust equation that I had with my partner.
Trust can take time to build, but once you have it, it will be easier for you to relax and enjoy your partner.
Trusting someone means that you are willing to open up about yourself and share those parts of yourself that are less than perfect.
Trust is not something that you can gain overnight or with one good deed. It takes time and effort to earn trust, but once you have it, it will be worth the wait.
There Are Three Levels Of Trust In A Relationship
Lowest level: No Trust At All
Here you don’t know the person at all, here you are, complete strangers, to each other’s emotions, and you don’t share any sort of sense of affection or belongingness.
Here one person does not have any faith in the other person and does not expect anything good to come from the relationship.
The person may even be suspicious of the other person’s intentions.
Mid-level: Trust With Reservations
In this stage, a sense of likeness starts budding but still you are still figuring out whether you want to or can relate with this person, there is a certain level of trust but with reservations.
The Individuals trust their partner but they are also wary and cautious in their approach to them.
They are careful with what they share and how they behave around them because they do not want to give away too much information or make mistakes that could jeopardize their relationship.
Highest level: Complete And Total Trust
The highest level of trust is complete faith in one another without any hesitation or apprehension.
When two people have this type of relationship, they will share everything with each other without worrying about being judged or feeling vulnerable.
They know that their partner will never judge them for it and will always be there for them no matter what happens.
A person who you trust will not betray your secrets or take advantage of you in any way.
You will know that they are always on your side and want to see you happy.
A person who doesn’t have a lot of faith in you may not want to share their feelings with you.
Like in beginning, I was quite skeptical to open up, I was afraid and excited at the same time.
I had mixed feelings that the person might be loyal to me but I was on the verge of risk what if I get betrayed and proved wrong?
The level of honesty in a relationship can change over time as well.
If one partner does something that hurts the other partner’s feelings, then the level of trust may be diminished until it is repaired again.
Lack Of Trust Is One Of The Reasons For Relationships To Fall Apart.
Here Is Why Trust Is The Driving Factor In Relationships
All relationships need trust in order to survive because it’s not about how you start off but about how you end up.
When a relationship starts to crumble, it’s not because people don’t trust each other but because they are scared to be hurt again so they stop trusting one another and eventually break apart.
It Helps Overcome Obstacles.
The first obstacle that trust can help overcome is the obstacle of fear.
When you are afraid, it can be difficult to take action and do what needs to be done in order to get past the fear.
But when we have someone to confide in, it becomes easier for us to do what we need to do in order to get past the fear and continue on with our lives.
It Helps In Healing.
There are many ways in which you can help in healing a relationship.
For example,
when two people get hurt by each other, it takes time for them to heal and rebuild their loyalties again.
Trust helps them get back on their feet and start rebuilding the relationship from scratch.
It Is Reassuring.
The trust between two people can be a great source of reassurance and comfort.
Trust is a two-way street; it takes both parties to maintain it.
It’s essential to communicate with your partner and be open about your feelings.
If you find that you cannot be loyal to your partner, then it may be time to reevaluate the relationship.
The more we trust someone, the more likely we are to share our secrets, emotions, and dreams with them.
Trust Is Also The Glue That Holds Relationships Together When Things Get Tough.
It can take a long time for you to build up faith in a relationship, even in a marriage or friendship.
You need to show your partner that you will put their needs above yours and are willing to work with them on making the relationship work.
Hence I would like to conclude this article by saying,
It is an essential part of any relationship, whether be it with a partner, friend, or family member.
It is the foundation for any relationship and what makes it work.
A relationship without trust will never work out because it is most likely filled with lies, betrayal, and mistrust.
I share a cordial relationship with my friends because I earned their trust and share an equally strong bond with them.
So, Always remember Trust is the backbone of a relationship. It is the foundation that allows you to feel secure and confident in your partner.
Without trust, there can be no deep connection.
